Annequin Biewer Terriers

I am a founder member of the Biewer Terrier Club of South Africa. I have been practicing as a veterinarian for the past 27 years. I started off in rural practice in Lydenburg. After that, I taught Small Animal Medicine and Theriogenology at the Medical University of South Africa (Medunsa). During my time at Medunsa, I married Neil Duncan, who specializes in both Pathology and Poultry Science. He is associate professor in the Department of Pathology at Onderstepoort. We have 2 children.

The Biewer Terriers are very affectionate and exceptionally good with children. They fit in well with a family and are not overly aggressive with other dogs. I have had no problems integrating them with my other Yorkies as well as my Rottweilers! The Biewers show great potential to be trained as agility and therapy dogs.
By sticking to the breed standards and applying good breeding ethics the Biewer Terrier will go from strength to strength!
